An early 20th Century painted mahogany "salon" sofa with pretty carved upright details and elegant tapered legs. 
The woodwork has been painted and then lightly distressed in Fusion Mineral Paint Cathedral Taupe, which is a very easy to live with, warm  taupe with blush undertones. 
The upholstered seat has been re-covered (original upholstery in place) in Blithfield's stunning Pineapple fabric in Pumpkin/Rustic.  Self double piping to finish.  Woolsafe upholstery barrier felt (Schedule 3, Crib5 interliner has been used as a fire retardant barrier cloth. 
The paint-fabric combination is fabulous Managing to loom both smart and understated! We can see this beauty working very well in a bedroom, perhaps at the foot of a bed, or looking equally at home gracing a hallway or landing.
